Yes!!! I have jumped into the bandwagon of wedged-sneaker wearers! Aren't they rad? And I told you in my previous post that Penguin made this possible as he surprised me by buying these! Oh but there's a catch, these are advanced birthday present (though my birthday isn't until next month). Still, I will keep on repeating, I love them! Yesterday I wore them with shorts. Today with skirt. Oh joy, they go with almost everything! Expect that they will appear more often from now on. You know what's weird is that I used to loathe sneakers with heels, but here I am wearing sneakers with wedges (I often think to myself it's because I'm more of a wedge girl than heels, haha). Don't get me wrong, there are really tacky looking ones and I've seen some in real life. But since the Isabel Marant pair came out, I've been on the hunt for a similar looking pair and those are the only ones I really wanted. Overtime though, new versions came out and I think they looked just fine, so I settled for these. But hey, they're the comfiest pair, and I must they represent me more than anything. Wanna know why? Here:
- Wedges? Yes I prefer them more than heels.
- Sneakers? With all Penguin's influences, yes, I'm into high-cut sneakers, the ones that I can't afford (Jeremy Scott x Adidas, Christian Louboutin to name a few)
- Comfort? That's my motto.
- Style? Let's say they represent casual coolness, laid-back, and effortless yet chic in every bit. Plus they're a current trend.
What else can I say? I know it's a bit too much, but it all comes down to say, I love them! Period. What about you guys? What's your take on wedged-sneakers?
