Today's one of those rare moments that I have the mood to wear a pair denim skinny jeans. If you've been a reader of this blog for a while now, you may notice that I barely ever wear them. It's not that I don't like them but like I said here and here, they don't look flattering on me (at least that's what I used to think). But recently when I tried a couple of the pairs I owned and most of them fit me surprisingly well. I don't know whether I lost weight, or the fabrics stretched, or am just simply biased with the way I see things in the past as flattering or unflattering, influenced by trends, or being in a style transitional phase, but in any case, it's safe to say that denim jeans may soon be a part of my daily essentials again.

Now isn't my excitement to wear this leopard printed coat so obvious? I've had my eyes on this piece for the longest time since Pull & Bear had the SALE banners up months ago, but wasn't able to buy right then and there because at the time, I was broke. My expectation was that they'd sell out fast. But to my surprise, up until yesterday, there was rack full. Well what do you know, they definitely waited for me. And now I start to appreciate the bipolar Spring weather of Macau because it allows me to wear coats.

There's nothing much to report about my life these days except for the usual this and that, which I'd rather not bore you with. I'm still on Easter Break but work's been consuming most of my time so it doesn't at all feel like I'm on a holiday. Still, no reason to complain. Never have I expected myself to say that I am loving my job, but the fact is, I am. And right now, it's good enough for me. At least until I graduate, when, then I'm bound to look for a permanent, full-time job, and that story I leave for a future post.

Pf, you can so rock the classic denim skinnies. I love this pair and how you styled it! They fit you perfectly. Plus, I've been looking forward to see how you styled this coat. Ahhh, amazing as usual Carla.

And thanks! I won't lie, reading your blog has helped influence my style - I now love wearing casual-cool ensembles haha

  4. I agree with you on the denim skinnies... I can't remember the last time I wore them. I think they just look bad on short people like my self, but boy do you pull off this look. I love love love the over the shoulder printed coat and your shoes are killer. You would def turn my head if you were walking down the street :)
