Sorts of Green

Just a quick outfit post, one that isn't necessarily my best combination but still worth sharing. The green on green on brown works, after all. Besides, I like to think that I do have an eclectic style and the way I dress up depends on my mood, the weather, and/or the need to wear a certain piece - case in point, this pair of boots from Pink and Pepper's Fall '14 Collection. I'm not kidding when I preached on instagram that they sent me a season's worth of pairs to style; the perfect nude boots for casual days, this high-cut pair for when it gets really chilly, and a killer pair of peep-toe ankle boots for parties and nights out which you are yet about to see. I'm definitely thrilled.

On an unrelated note, I'm having difficulties in creating consistent-looking images, quality and editing-wise. I apologise but I have to admit I can only get so used to a device and photo editing softwares after many failed attempts, trials, and errors. And because I've been using D60 and Photoscape from the very beginning of this blog, the sudden switch to Lightroom and occasional 5D is problematic. But I'll get the hang of it, promise. You might just have to bear with these glitches (if that's the correct term) once in a while.

  3. It's hard transitioning to a new program, huh? Good luck with the switch! I'm sure you'll get it :)
I always love how you wear this skirt. I'd think it'd be a difficult piece to style outside of one outfit, but you're continually mixing it up and making it an incredibly versatile piece. Love it!
Ahaha, and aww, thanks for the last comment on my music post. It's something I've always been into, and my friends always commented that I knew about music long before it became popular, so I figured it'd be a good feature to include on the blog. Any music you like, I'd love to hear about as well! Finding out about new bands or artists from other people is one of my favorite things :)

  5. I just stick with the basic Picasa and sometimes Photoshop, though I probably should learn more editing techniques, oh well. I love the mix of brown and green in this look. Your skirt is so vibrant and fun. Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog by the way.
