Apologies for my absence the past days as I've been busy with what else but my corporate life. I'm way over getting the hang of it, trust me. So what I really meant to tell you is how my weekend went about.
If my little boxes of captured moments over at instagram aren't hint enough, allow me to preach it this once how refreshing it was to be able to spend the whole weekend in Hong Kong with Penguin for Clockenflap festival. Three days of live music, art, street fashion, and good vibes - a complete breath of fresh air.
Indeed that's where I've been and what I've been pre-occupied with.
Friday afternoon started off with checking in at the hotel and rushing to the festival scene to catch Chvrches play - ultimately the highlight of the day/night., then leaving before everyone else as the festival approaches to end for the night, we headed straight to Lan Kwai Fong to the party scene.
Saturday morning was dedicated to walking around the city before heading back to the festival in the afternoon for Kool and the Gang, Ozomatli, Rudimental, and Travis, and of course the festival scene. This was essentially what I wore on the day and believe it or not, was twice spotted by street style photographers for my seemingly eye-catching denim on denim combo. Or possibly the hat. I don't know. I smiled, nonetheless.
Come Sunday, Penguin and were physically tired but nonetheless still had the energy to go out and play. Talk about not having had enough.
I do have a visual report on this, though so few, that I've already prepped for your viewing pleasure. They will be up here soon, but in the meantime, I leave you with these. Topic to be continued...
