H&M AW15 Studio Collection

Photos by yours truly and Rebecca Fellini

2 months later I'm back at the H&M showroom for its Autumn/Winter 2015 Studio Collection preview. I'm particularly excited because if you know me well, I really prefer to style clothes for the cooler season. Coats, jackets, boots, and layers and layers of garments. I'm definitely thrilled to see new items to covet and basically have a season's worth of wardrobe inspiration.

This year's collection was inspired by futuristic matters, taking into account versatility and functionality. We see lots of sportswear and menswear inspired pieces; oversize tops and structured jackets; a play on texture, mixing and matching different materials like leather and nylon, velvet and shiny knits; structure and techniques that turns a garment from one to another; a jacket to a vest; a vest to an accessory; and of course psychedelic patterns screaming this collection is literally out of this world.

The event in on the theme too, from the smoking cold cocktails and textured ice cream they served to the little planet lollipops that they gave away. It was totally on point.

Thanks for having me once again, H&M!
