No Regrets2:00 PMCarla Florendo
I'm finally able to get my hands on a pair of ultra boosts. Don't get me wrong, I know you'd say you're pretty sure, there's a pair of boosts in any Adidas store. And you're right about that. Except that I'm quite particular to the kind that I like. This pair in particular are hard to come by because this colorway (and the all-white colorway) are, for some reason, so hyped up that they're always sold out. Plus, while it's already hard enough to find them in the colors that I want, it's even harder to find them in my size.
Penguin was on a stroll in Manila last week as he waited for me to get off work when he passed by an Adidas store. By luck, these were on the shelf. I was hesitant to buy them at first because I had spent a lot already in that trip and wasn't planning to splurge even more. But I couldn't help it, specially because they were the last pair. Like I said, hard to come by. You know what they say, YOLO so buy the shoes, yeah? I just had to.
But pleased to tell you though that they're the comfiest pair of sneakers I own as of this point. Hands down to Adidas and their boost technology for making my mantra of style and comfort going hand in hand into something tangible.
As is with every Adidas item I ever bought. This brand has me the throat and I can't say I like or loathe it. It's got me spending way too much that what I would for the same kind of stuff in other brands. I don't know. Maybe I'm also just too caught up with the hype. But one thing's for sure, there's definitely no regrets on my end.
