On a boat

Quick update for tonight to let you all know that I'm still alive and well. Sorry being out of reach for the past days, I've had the busiest weekend in Manila. Parts of it good, parts of it not so good. But all is well. I mean, I can rant all night about the bad parts but it's best to leave it out before I offend some people.

Anyway, these were taken two days before I flew over to Manila. A colleague and I were sent on an overnight cruise for work. Trust me, it wasn't as glamorous as it sounds. Don't be fooled by how fancy it seems that I get to travel or experience VIP treatments at time for work. I pay a price for that too and it tortures my whole being; my work makes me question my own beliefs, my capabilities, and my self-confidence. And it doesn't get any better everyday. But again, best to leave out the bad parts in this post. Instead, let's focus on my outfit.

You know how souvenir jackets are a trend? well, Penguin and I hunted for the perfect ones when we went to Tokyo but alas, we were out of luck. I didn't mind though, knowing that I had 2 of those hiding somewhere behind my closet or the piles of clothes in boxes hidden underneath my bed. And so as soon as we landed back in Macau, I searched for them tirelessly. After going through everywhere I could possible, I finally found both of them still in very good conditions. What to do but of course wear them immediately. For a laid back look, wore it with this skirt and a pair of sneakers.

In other news, how do you like my hair color?

  1. I like your hair color,it looks good and more natural. And sometimes it's better to focus on the positives than the negative things. I love your bomber jacket, I love the laid back look with your sneakers and skirt.
