Montenegro Blues

... And the Montenegro travel series continues. This time I'm sharing with you visuals from around the property and the beach at Maestral, the resort we were staying at the whole entire time.

If you don't know already, I was in Montenegro purely for work so I had very little expectations in terms of what I'll do or see. But the moment that I saw our hotel room, I knew it was going to be quite an experience. Every morning I'd wake up to this view from our hotel room balcony and look out to the ocean and the blue skies while sipping my morning coffee to set the day's mood right. It's always the perfect start to my day so however it might end, at least I know it started out quite magically.

Today I sit in my dining table back in Macau trying to remember every little details that I wanted to tell you guys but my brain isn't functioning so well what with the state of jetlag I'm still in. All I remember now is wanting to tell you guys how beautiful Montenegro is, at least from the part where we were at. I also remember discussing with Chezka how our photos both turned out amazingly despite us always being pressed for time taking turns behind lenses, snapping photos of each other, because the lighting was always on point and we didn't really need to go anywhere to find photo spots because almost every corner of Maestral and it's surroundings are all too picture-perfect. I don't have the best camera and I certainly am not a professional photographer but for these and the photos from Sveti Stefan, definitely giving myself a pat on the back for doing the place some justice. I think I did.

I'll try to recall more of the things I wanted to tell you guys from the day we go there. They'll come back to me for sure as soon as I get settled into the time zone that I currently am. For now, let's leave it at this.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Cheers,
Carla
