World Design Space at T Galleria by DFS at City of Dreams Launch Event

The day after I came back from the US, I had the opportunity to attend the opening of the World Design Space at T Galleria by DFS Group at the City of Dreams. It's this new multi-brand concept store carrying brands targeted towards a younger market and I cannot be any thrilled to see what brands are featured there, specifically streetwear.

Located right at the entrance of City of Dreams' shopping area, it bridges the beauty boutiques with the luxurious Fashion Arc, essentially filling in the gap between high-end consumers and a new generation of contemporary-loving, younger travelling consumer.

A few of the featured brands included those that Pierre and I have to travel far in order to acquire, if not online but which we have to bear high shipping costs, the likes of F.A.M.T, Eleven Paris, and Les Art(ists). I've been eyeing a few bags from F.A.M.T. though never got around to buying just yet. But now that their products are readily available here, I have a strong feeling I'll be caving in and finally buying a few pieces. A few other brands that I'm eyeing are Essentiel Antwerp, Anouki, and Oh! Yazbukey.

The opening event was hosted by DFS Vice President of Global Fashion Merchandising and Trends, Nelson Mui, who introduced some of the brands and curated lifestyle products. This was followed by a scrumptious lunch at Antonio's, one of Macau's legendary Portuguese restaurants. We dine alfresco-style at Antonio's veranda, sangria on the side, with a live DJ spinning the ultimate summer tunes. It was the perfect, for me at least, welcome back fashion meets music lunch party.

Post-meal, we headed back to World Design Space for a music production masterclass led by Taiwan-based music producer and artist, Dizzy Dizzo. I meam, fashion and music combined, somebody got it right. DFS got it right and I can't wait to see what other dope stuff DFS via World Design Space will come up with.

To those into contemporary fashion and lifestyle, if you're ever in Macau and wondering, World Design Space is worth checking out. Come through the Estrada to Itsmo entrance of City of Dreams and it's right in front of you.
