Blair's Dress

Sunday is one of my favorite days. That's the one day I have an excuse to dress up not-so-casually like my everyday getups for school, including wearing towering heels, platforms or wedges of any kind. For one, people who'll see me won't mind as they've gotten used to my clothing experiments over the years that they've seen me turn from a little girl to a young lady (young lady, can't believe I just wrote that). Second is that I have my little brothers to myself for the day to take pictures of my Sunday outfit adventures.

My brother, John, is always willing to be a part of my blog post process. His height, being shorter than me, is the perfect angle to my satisfaction for full body shots such as the ones he took for this post. He'd grow taller, that I'm aware. So I'm taking advantage of having him take pictures of me as much as I can before he grows a lot taller than me, as how Paulo is holding up right now. A few more years and I'll be looking like the youngest sibling. But well, I'll always have Penguin =)My brother, John, is always willing to be a part of my blog post process. On the clothes, I got this dress from my mom's store. Once in a while, I find something from her store that suits my taste. I'm not dissing mom's boutique cos I really think she sells really beautiful clothes, and for a really good price too. I don't doubt my mom's taste. She's a sophisticated woman and she's actually one of the reasons I like fashion too. But anyway, what I'm saying is that I guess my mom sells clothes that are more appropriate for her age and not for me. In some occasions, her supplier sends her a few pieces that are different from what she usually has. This dress is one of them. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. One of the perks of having a store is that I get to have what I want if not for free, for a discounted price. So I got this dress for free =). When I saw it I immediately thought of Blair Waldorf's dress from season 2 (click on link to see Blair's dress http://www.polyvore.com/dress_like_blair_waldorf/set?id=5288765)
It's a good thing the weather is gradually becoming warm now. I can't wait to wear this dress again, this time really Blair like. Possibly with a native handbag too, and a head band. BTW, my mom sells native hand bags too. Coincidence much? I have a few pieces courtesy of MPT clothes and accessories.

So sweeties, I leave you with this last post for February. Talk to me sweeties. What do you think of this dress and Blair's... oh and my look?
