Airport Hiatus

So I told you our flight was cancelled right? I rushed to the airport, with my mom onto me, calling every minute, urging me to re-book our flights as soon as possible. There was a commotion when we arrived.  It was the first I've seen a situation like that in Macau. Apparently, flights from close-by destinations have been cancelled too, regardless of what weather. People were complaining, shouting here and there. I pity those on the information counter, travel agencies, and service agents from involved airline companies. It was chaos. I had Penguin with me, and since we weren't too affected by the hiatus, we weren't bothered. We were rather humored by people-watching while listening to their petty complains. We heard some main-landers who wanted to leave at that instant, asking the staff from AirAsia to resume their flight, reasoning that their destination's weather, which was Bangkok, was completely fine. Never mind the fact that the plane they're about to board can't possibly land in Macau due to the typhoon. It's mean to laugh but I tell you, the way it was, pretty funny.

I had to queue up to a long line of waiting passengers to have our flights re-booked, while Penguin took photos. You see, I'm not a patient person, and on any normal circumstance, I would have been freaking pissed off. It's good that Penguin tagged along. But after a long while of waiting, I received an email from AirAsia saying that my itinerary has been automatically re-booked. I was like "what?!". In all my efforts to rush, wait, and be patient, turns out I didn't have to do all this after all?! Ugh! Now that's pissing off. But anyway, at least I didn't have to deal with it.

Now I'm about to get ready. We resume our flight tonight, hopefully this time it's for sure. I leave you guys with the photos from last night and hope that the next time I post, I'll be in Manila, having fun. Happy weekend loves!

Cheers, Carla
