Taking advantage of the sun
Ever since I started taking outfit photos for this blog, I have always avoided shooting under extreme heat - you know that period at midday between 12pm - 4pm, when it's impossible to fully open your eyes, difficult to smile and pose for the camera, and you get all sweaty and sticky walking just a few meters... the idea of having to go through that situation in high heels already make me feel exhausted. The problem is, right now it's unavoidable. I thought it's a big problem and I complained a lot, but I guess I was wrong. Apparently, it's so much better to take photos during that period. Penguin figured out a way to have the sunlight to our advantage (what a genius), and I'm happy with the results. I don't know about you guys or if it's just me but so far, this is my favorite photo set from this blog, haha.
So how has your weekend been? I had a great Sunday spent with the family. Normally I won't last walking the whole day wearing high heels, let it be chunky or not. No matter how comfortable the pair is, it's simply tiring to have to make so much effort to walk in tower shoes. But I did just that today and didn't feel at all tired. Was wearing my Jeffrey Campbell pair, and here, proven based on the experience, they're definitely the most comfortable pair I own (the tallest too!). I will try to show you what I wore for the day as I took photos with my friend Chezka (if you've been a reader of this blog from the beginning, then you remember her). She has a blog too (check it out here), and while she brought her camera for a planned day shoot, I had to ask her to take snaps of my outfit too. Hopefully, I can get my copies to share with you guys soon.

When it's midday and the sun is horrible I usually just try to find some shade!! Or a wall that's making shade and shoot there. These pictures turned out really well though! I love this look, the casual tee is awesome with that collar necklace and the skirtReplyDelete
