Something Spontaneous

Sometimes we just need a little break from everything to cheer up... exactly what Penguin and I had in mind. And we did about it? A spontaneous visit to Hong Kong! It's funny how we planned to do this a couple of times within the few months already because awhile back, it has been our little routine; a sort of way to unwind. But with school things, plus work, this blog, and the little bits here and there, we were never able to go as planned, until today, when it was unplanned. The thought just made me realize that I guess I shouldn't worry too much about planning ahead and all that, cause if things are meant to happen, they just will. Point taken.

Anyway in case you're wondering, yes, that is a giant rubber ducky behind me! It's floating in the harbors of Hong Kong before making its way to the US, and we were lucky enough to be able to get a glimpse of it. Kudos to the Dutch artist who crafted the idea behind this giant duck, it did put a smile on my face (and I do agree that the world is one big bath tub). So what do you do when you see a giant duck? You take pictures of course, lots of it!

After the duck, it's Tony Stark. There was a mini exhibition of Iron Man 3 at Hysan Place which Penguin badly wanted to see so naturally, it was one place to stop. Pretty cool, I can say that  for sure. But what I found most astonishing is this little machine that features a sort of hologram projection detailing parts of the Iron suit. Pure technology and amazing.

Of course you can guess what else we did. Besides roaming around, the best stress therapy I can ever get is shopping; a much needed one, I tell you. And I'm super happy with what I was able to acquire - most of what I have on my current wishlist! I'll do a haul sometime soon as I have many other posts on buffer. But surely I will, we can't miss this one so stay tuned. For now, I leave you with these photos. Enjoy!
