Distressed Denim

[Tee : Pull & Bear][Jeans : Bossini][Heel : Stradivarius][Clutch : Next][Necklace : Cotton On]

I wouldn't put this outfit entirely as being in my zone, as for those of you who've trailed this blog long enough could attest to it that I'm not a denim jeans kind of person, despite defining my style as having an urban chic, laid-back, effortless-cool kind of demeanor. I like them. But they don't like me back, simply put. The THP Anya jeans were one of only very few pieces that made me look twice because I had a feeling they were going to change my perception at that. And I might be right, because the whole thigh cut-out going on just elevated these jeans to a different level of cool.

Of course I didn't get my hands on a pair of Anya jeans for two reasons - they're sold out, and even not, they're pretty pricey for someone who don't wear jeans often. What I did instead was I dug out an old pair of denim jeans from the bottom of my closet and got my hands on a pair of scissors. Chop chop. Voila! Something old, something new.

Hit or miss? Let me know if you're a fan of distressed jeans.

Cheers!

  7. The jeans are so cool, great job on the cutouts. I'm too scared or ruining my jeans which is why I have not tried any DIY on them, maybe I should.
