Too Cool for School

While it's still too hot to call this weather fall, or wear anything layered as much as I want to for that matter, there isn't a rule that says I can't wear the ultimate fall prints of all time for a prep-school girl inspired look on a warm, humid day. This top is the perfect solution - easy enough to understand that plaid is all about fall but at the same time, being sleeveless makes it so much easier to conquer the heat in.

On a normal occasion I would have worn this with with black jeans and black boots, denim shirt tied on my waist, accessorized with a hat. But since I was head to mass on this particular morning, I thought to dress it up a bit with a 90's inspired chunky heels and this skirt - because I simply couldn't resist the opportunity of a grid on grid combo. Too cool for school eh? You can say that.

  6. Your Mango skirt is killing me and those shoes are SO unusual; I love how you've put together unusual pieces and yet created an outcome that flows and 'makes sense' :)
