I just got back from Manila, to which I will apologise yet again for the short hiatus, and I'm feeling a bit bummed by the fact that the visit was rather short. As a result, I'm currently lounging in bed, munching on junk food that I brought over from the trip and impractically being a lazy-ass, recollecting on the events of the past days. It doesn't help that I left Manila in such a bright state, an almost perfect 35 degree weather outside, only to be welcomed by Macau's May shower and usual gloom. Ugh.
But on the bright side, I won't have to worry about spending too much anymore. Manila is a place where every heck of a move you make cost money. And while I agree that almost everything is cheaper when converted to Hong Kong dollars, I tend to overspend on food, unnecessary food, and more unnecessary food, because of the very same thought. So I guess it's better this way. My wallet and stomach will surely thank me later.
And per usual, Penguin and I don't come empty handed with images to share with you whenever we travel, even just a few, so I will have some up here soon. But in the meantime, here are some we took from a recent visit to Hong Kong. Obligatory hotel room shots that I don't normally publish but since these define the current mood I'm feeling, I made an exception. Besides, I also wanted to share this off-shoulder top that's one of the few summer staples I'm currently obsessed with. It's such a feminine cut but I like that it's easy to wear with any type of bottoms and look stylish. Versatile if you will. This will probably my go-to look this summer. Easy peasy.
What do you think?
