Lunch at The Peninsula Hong Kong with H&M

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of joining H&M for a press event in Hong Kong where we had a viewing of its latest collection to be launched in time for its Macau flagship store opening.  The viewing was succeeded by a scrumptious lunch at the Peninsula Hotel. The food and service was splendid and I was in awe of the hotel's interiors that I had to step out of Chesa, the restaurant, to take a look around. While at it, Danella and I took the opportunity to take outfit photos for your viewing pleasure. Having comfort without compromising style in mind, I decided to wear a simple peplum top and harem pants. I also expected that we'd do a bit of walking here and there, and was I right, so I took to my most comfortable chunky heeled lace up shoes - just the perfect balance of fashion and function.

On an unrelated note, I'm finally clear of what I want career-wise. At least for now. It's been a struggle but I realized when it comes to happiness, it's heart over mind. Peace over practicality. And that's just what I did.
