New Lengths

I'm not into maxi type fit dresses or any body hugging dresses for that matter, mainly because I have a major problem with my lower midsection, specially in pictures; my lower belly always seem to be bulging for some reason. That's one of my insecurities along with my gigantic arms. This is also why I'm more inclined towards A-line skirts or high-waist bottoms because they easily cover up my problem area or at least give illusion that it's not problematic at all. This dress comes as an exception because of its material and cut; it hugs in just all the right places. I really thought hard before finally deciding to buy it because I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear it anywhere. But I couldn't refuse when my dad offered to pay for it (grins). Why not?

On a totally unrelated note, I'm finally back in my dear Macau after over a month of being in Manila for work. I hate to admit it but I actually missed this tiny little city. It's boring here, I know. But it's home, and I guess even if you're the ultimate globe-trotter, no other place can ever replace home and the feeling of coming home. At least for a few days then... before the whole family flies off to Singapore to wrap up the year early with Christmas. That's right, more travelling.

See you all in Singapore soon!
