Meshing Around

There's something about the idea of a pencil skirt supposedly made to be worn in a corporate setting, made appropriate as an everyday fashion thing simply by a high slit and barely there coordinating tops that I like so much. The juxtaposition of all things combined - a little bandage-like and a mesh top against a crispy white, form-fitting skirt make for a really badass yet chic ensemble.

This was essentially what I wore to a not so fancy lunch one gloomy weekend. There's only so much places I can go to much less do around here that requires dressing up so really, what reasons do I have without having to make up my own excuse? Point being, wear what you want, when you want, where you want.

Anyhow, I'm calling it a night early. Macau's ever unstable climate has taken a toll on my body so here I am nursing a cold while preventing a fever to happen. Hope you are are having a better start to Spring that I am. Stay healthy.

Cheers,
Carla

  3. Um this outfit is amazing!! Badass, cool, chic. Cannot agree more with wearing what you want, where you want. It's hard to find excuses to wear certain things where I live as well - so I make them up. :P

  6. Exactly hun, wear what you want where you want to. I love the juxtapose of this outfit too. Two contrasting pieces that merge so well. Love the skirt and mesh top combo, would have worked great with a pair of converse too. I'd love to see how you dress up the skirt for a night out.
