Not Cozy Enough

Just like that, we've hit the peak of winter (or so it feels like). Two days after these photos were taken, obviously with my outfit you can tell it wasn't that cold, rained poured and next thing you know we're all wrapped up like good ol' burritos with the thickest jacket we can find from our closets because Macau's temperature decided to drop it like it's hot. Ok, that's not right but I just like the sound of it read out loud.

Seriously though, I'm bundled up in multiple layers of clothing as I'm typing this post and sipping a cup of hot tea. And still everything I got is not cozy enough. But I'm not complaining. Days like these, so rare in Macau by the way, remind me so much of Europe when Pierre and I went there in the fall two years ago. I just begin to reminisce of how London and Paris bitterly welcomed us. You can read all about that in this previous post and this other post that I did, if you fancy.

Reminiscing aside, I'm so thrilled to be having some time off from work and be able to do what I've been wanting to do for the longest time already, and that is really focus on this blog and my newly revived youtube channel. I've putting that off for way too long already because of adult duties and it's come to a point where I'm just not happy and I feel like I'm missing out. This year, I'm taking big risks because I'm getting old and I feel like if I don't do it sooner, I'll regret not ever trying and I know I'll always have what-ifs. This all sounds confusing to people who don't understand what it's like to limit yourself and hold back the creativity that's trying to burst out of your body and a lot of people will definitely question my decision and the steps I'm about to take in the following couple of weeks (if not even months), and trust me, I myself don't know what I'm doing because I don't have a concrete plan; I'm just going with what my guts tell me. But again, I'll never find out if I don't give it a try so here we are.

I'm excited though; it feels liberating. I'm still working until the end of the month but after, I can't wait to get started on my own projects - more content, more visuals, more videos here and on the YT channel so stay real close, dears!

Here's to taking risks and chances this 2018!
