Warm Tones in Burberry Plaid Top and White Jeans

We've been having the best weather lately - blue skies and sunny but the title of this post is still very much applicable as it's also chilly throughout the day, gotta stay warm and cozy all day long. It's also the ultimate weather to wear layers of various proportions.

I'm completely obsessed with this oversize plaid shirt which is made out of a sort of furry material making it wearable as an outerwear. I wore this a couple of days ago when it wasn't too windy and I could bear to bare a little bit of skin by way of a mid-riff high-neck top. I like the juxtaposition of a very relaxed outerwear with a tight-fitting inner and that's what I had in mind for this outfit.

Also, I know that winter is all about dark colours but I've been trying to incorporate more light tones to my cool-season outfits because it's just aesthetically pleasing to look at so instead of dark bottoms with my neutral-coloured tops, I opted for white wide jeans. This pair I'm wearing is quite special as it has this weird layer giving the illusion that I'm wearing another white pants inside or that this pants is low-rise because of the belt attached to it, I don't know, but to me it just looks cool.

I know this post is a little delayed, I've got no excuse actually as I'm fully aware of it. The truth is, I've been busy focusing more on my Youtube channel lately so I have been working on some concepts, trying out new equipment for filming, learning how to edit better, and just really trying to improve my videos.

Don't get me wrong, I love this space more than any creative hobby I've ever done or still am doing and the YT channel is just another extension of this blog. I feel like taking outfit photos has become such a routine for me; Pierre and I do it so well nowadays I should say even with our eyes closed so I want to challenge myself and do more than just the usual outfit photos.

What I'll be doing for the channel will also be reflected here, obviously, as I have been sharing my VLOGs here as well. So nothing changes, all remains the same, except that I may, or at least will try to be consistent with it, upload more videos along with the photos.

This is basically the reason why I have been so excited to take a break from working full time, from the serious, corporate world adult world, and just spare time for the things that I truly love doing. I know it won't be permanent unless of course I get to do this for a living, pray that time comes, but it's not something that comes overnight right so consider this temporary but I will try make the most out of this free time I'm about to have in a few weeks time. Just finishing some loose ends at work before I truly commit to this craft and let my creative juices flow through.
