How to wear a jacket in Summer

So I've been thinking about how to wear this jacket that I thrifted in San Francisco for my lookbook video. The trouble is that the heat is unbearable these days, I wasn't sure I'd be able to actually survive wearing a jacket while filming under the heat. Enter stage left creative ways to wear a button down shirt by one of my babes on Instagram, @mfromnextdoor, who did a short video clip styling her button up shirt in the way that I did this jacket. I thought it was clever and I knew that I had to style this jacket in the same way.

To be honest, I thought I'd never pull it off. For one, the material that this jacket is made off is sort of parachute-y. It's quite puffy and from a a side angle, it kinda makes me look like I'm preggo. But I just had to go with my guts and pull through with my plan. I mean, it didn't turn out so bad, did it? Though perhaps next time, I should keep it to jackets with thinner materials or shirts.

Anyway, said lookbook video will go up on the channel tomorrow so stay tuned, and if you haven't already, please do subscribe. I think it's safe to say that the things that I post here is somewhat different from what I have over on the channel, plus on Instagram so you know, you get a little bit of one thing here, and another there.

On life matters, well, I'm still enjoying life being a freelancer. I guess at the back of my head, I always knew I'd last this long without having a full-time job knowing that I have travel plans laid out for the rest of the year. Hint on my next destination? Paella and Sangria. Ugh, I can't wait. Still got over a month to wait up but I'm pretty sure days will pass by real fast.

But also as mentioned sometime before (I do recall mentioning something along this line), there's a few job prospects here and there. And while I'm not shutting any door just yet, at the very back of my head, I know I've already made a decision on something that I'm just waiting on to be 100 percent certain. But let's not jinx it so I'll leave it at that. Promise, when I'm certain, you'll be the first to hear about it.

Enjoy the rest of the week!!!
