Styling Silk Slip Dress and Sneakers

I did some sale shopping lately and boy does it feel good! All these moving in between the business of work's stressing me out so I needed some retail therapy and trust me, it always works. I know, bad bad thing to do but to be fair, I was much worse before. If you're an OG reader then I guess you'd know.

Anyway, this dress is one of my latest pick ups from H&M no less. I told my self I'd buy less from fast fashion stores and invest more in clothes that will last longer but can't help it when I see a staple piece. This dress is one of those versatile pieces that I can wear on its own or layered; dress up heels or down with sneakers; and form-fitting yet loose enough that it's breezy. It's made in a really soft, silk-like fabric too so it drops really nicely, making me look slightly taller than I actually am.

Wore it with the most fashun pair of sneakers that I have on hand (every other pair are either in Macau or in transit to KL). Even though these Alealimay Jordans are colourful, they go well with neutral colored clothes so here we are. Can't wait to bring over a couple more of my sneakers over here so I can play dress up and shoot. My new place is boasts open space living and I'm all for it. Literally every corner can be a photo spot and I'm inspired. It's all coming back to me slowly now. Won't promise a steady blog entry schedule but here's to hoping I'm able to update ya'll more often than I did these past couple of months.

Hope ya'll are having an amazing weekend!
