[Sweater and Jacket : Local stores in Kowloon][Skinny : MPT][Sneaker Wedges : Nike][Cap : Kenzo][Bag and Chain : Cotton On]
There's nothing that gets me more excited about month-ends than knowing payday's around the corner. February's the best yet, closing on a weekend, specifically on my two-day off weekend. And with everything that went on at work the week before - thunders, typhoons, and lightning - you can imagine what I had in mind and was bound to do when I finally had time and extra cash - shopping therapy!
Two days of excursion to Hong Kong and I think I've acquired enough pieces to cover a month's craving. It's also safe to say the I-have-nothing-to-wear moments won't arise anytime soon, unless the real reason behind would be that of I-can't-decide-which-piece-looks-BEST-with-which... because truth be told it happens more so often than not.
But I digress.
On this particular shopping excursion, I discovered a few random stores somewhere in Kowloon while helping mum do some errands. Can you believe that there are actually so much hidden gems (read: current trends for a steal) in that part of the city!? Because there are, and among which is this oversize denim jacket I saw by accident while waiting for mum at a shop next door. I knew instinctively that I had to have it because, come on... who could resist a slightly-faded studded boyfriend denim jacket in that perfect oversize, loose cut, almost as if it really belonged to a boy but very much fit for a girl?
...especially if it required me to pay only a fraction of a price that I would have originally paid for at, say, H&M or Zara. No judgement there but I'm paying for the denim jacket not the brand name so...
Anyway, my excitement obviously didn't cease overnight. And so the following day while on a wishlist tick-off mission with Penguin, the first thing that came to mind when deciding what to wear was this. Tadaa! Outfit on the go. And that, dear friends, is a sign that this jacket will do me wonders. No regrets. Already can't wait for the next outfit to shoot this with but until then, I leave you with these few outfit shots quickly snapped about by Penguin at Lan Kwai Fong.
Now off to bed.
