Clockenflap 2013
Penguin and I had the chance to attend day 2 of Clockenflap, Hong Kong's music and arts festival, where we got to see one of our new favorite upcoming bands, The 1975, and I can tell you for sure, we definitely had a blast! It's times like these that I appreciate living close to an eventful city like Hong Kong... and of course, it being easily accessible for us. Thankfully, my work schedule permitted it, so even just for a day, I was able to experience something close to one of my bucket list must-dos.
We took the ferry early in the morning as we planned to return during the night, but which I somehow regretted when we got back and thought that we should have stayed the whole weekend instead because there was just so much to see - the performers, the bands, the arts, the bazaar, not to mention the activities that can be done (thinking of the photobooth at Vans and the Silent Disco). Oh, and don't get me started on the flippin' flappers (read: festival goers) and their clothes. I could have sat down in one corner all day and been satisfied just by looking at what people wore; I've never seen so many stylish, trendy, fashionable, and fresh-looking people in one place together as I did at this festival in my whole life. Definitely still reeling in that I became a part of it!
Anyway, I'm leaving you with the visuals from this recent escapade. Still, unfortunately, they're not of high quality because they were not allowed in the venue, and Penguin and I were left with no choice but to bring our low-quality point-and-shoot photos. Still, photos are photos. I hope you enjoy!
