The image set in this post is actually from my latest lookbook video, so if you wanna go watch how I style my current overalls collection, head to my youtube channel.
This collaboration was supposed to showcase how I (or Penguin more in this case, actually) take my outfit photos for Instagram from the styling thought and how I pick my backgrounds, etc. and these images are supposedly the result of that process.
I'm currently in Macau, enjoying a full 10 days off; free of work and responsibilities and I couldn't be happier. Despite my efforts in trying to be productive while I'm here (hello, errands!), it's actually been a very long time that mind has not been occupied by work!
I just got back from a long work trip to London, a very exhausting one at that, right after which I went straight to Hua Hin for a mini-vacation for Penguin's birthday. Again, not complaining about the fact that I am constantly traveling but god does it take a toll on my overall health. I am now in a state that I call recovery mode and the truth is, am not doing so well in it.
I've been avoiding shopping lately for the reason that I don't get to wear my clothes and shoot outfits as often as I want to. Event dodged the sales when I was in Macau. But my mom, ever the hoarder, bought a few cute stuff just because they were on sale. Never mind who gets to wear them, me or her. Of course it ended up that I had to get most of them because they won't fit her.
Hi Ya'll, Happy New Year! I'm a little late on the greetings, I know but what can I say? Between Bangkok, Macau, and Jeju, there was really little time for me to shoot, sit down, edit, and type up posts.
So I received a couple of items from Cheap Monday (Hong Kong), courtesy of Popkorn and my dear friend, the one and only Michael Cheung; he sent some items for me to style, and as always, here I am with a dedicated outfit post. (Just to be clear, this is not sponsored or anything. I personally like Cheap Monday as a streetwear brand, and way before I met Michael, I already patronized the brand. The piece I'm wearing in particular is a t-shirt dress that I was super excited to style the moment I saw it. Only problem is that the length is a little off - too short as a midi and too long as a mini.
This outfit is a part of my "Styling Dad Sneakers" lookbook video, which is already on YouTube, uploaded last week, and I just wanted to complete the series by publishing this last look.
