A promise fulfilled. We’ve finally returned to Bali with Pierre’s family, but most importantly, we are now a family in our own right. I can hardly believe we’re here with our baby girl—the very place where we had originally planned to get married. A full circle moment? Even better.
2019
Bali holds a special place in my heart, as it was the island where Pierre and I had planned to celebrate our wedding. In 2019, we explored the island to scout reception venues and familiarize ourselves with its unique charm. Unfortunately, the universe had other plans, and what was meant to be a beautiful ceremony combined with a family tropical vacation remained an unfulfilled dream due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, we promised ourselves to return to Bali one day—to fully experience its magic, first with friends, and later, with family.
