An unexpected yet welcome escape, we found ourselves in Hoi An, Vietnam, for a brief work trip shortly after our visit to Dubai.

Hoi An—what can I say? It was delightfully charming. The entire town seemed frozen in time, in the best possible way. I especially loved the river at night, alive with boats and glowing floating lanterns. It’s truly a place I would recommend everyone experience at least once.
