Penguin and I were fortunate enough to visit Koh Samui for a while to experience the beauty of this island. While we stayed most of the time at Villa Punpreeda in Bophut, making the most out of the amenities and our private pool, we did spare some time to see the famous Big Buddha, stroll along the streets to the other beaches, and watch the sunset while we sipped cocktails by the sea at Fisherman's Village. Little bits that make up for a perfect relaxing vacation

This is essentially what I wore to the most romantic wedding I've attended so far. Given the circumstances of having very little options (or ideas, to be honest) of what to wear to a luxurious beach wedding, and by luxurious I mean having the ceremony on top of the mountains at InterContinental Samui's Air Bar, overlooking the majestic ocean that was followed by a reception dinner and a dusk-til-dawn after party at a private beach villa, I did the most cliche thing and decided to dress according to the wedding's theme colours. 

One of at least 5 outfits I wore that was pretty decent for a vacation. Penguin and I found the perfect spot to shoot at for this look at Fisherman's Village in Bophut, which totally made my outfit scream nautical. I mean, stripes are one thing, but having the ocean and a cruise ship for a backdrop definitely completes the picture. Don't you think?

Penguin and I were invited to spend a weekend in Koh Samui for a wedding. Taking this as an opportunity to give ourselves some pampering and quality time, we flew in two days earlier to do the touristy things and unwind. Ultimately, we found ourselves roaming around the Bophut area on our first afternoon out, particularly in Fisherman's Village, which is a whole strip full of bars, restaurants, souvenir stores, and massage parlors perfectly situated along the beach.
