Riga is one of those destinations I wouldn’t have visited on my own if not for work. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a charming Eastern European city that I’ve grown to really appreciate. Although I didn’t have much time to explore independently since I was mostly with colleagues, the food left a lasting impression. Being with locals meant I was taken to the best spots for authentic local cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed sampling seasonal dishes paired with excellent wines — a testament to the Europeans’ impressive expertise in wine.
