HKFW S/S'14 Day 1
Photos by Pierre Elma
5 manic days of sweating hot and being bothered, overdosed in fast food while running in between shows to and from Macau with lesser sleep ever than working the graveyard shift later, I am finally back and ready to give you the deets on what went down during Hong Kong Fashion week - all thanks to HKCEC, Raffles International College, and new-found friends Krisha, Ira, and Macky, I had the best jam-packed weekday in the longest time.
And so what did?
Well for starters, Hong Kong Fashion week is mainly a fashion fair featuring exhibits from multiple countries and various events from seminars, demos, fashion parades, and runway shows. From a buyer's perspective, I'm sure it's the perfect place to scout for potential suppliers. From a blogger's perspective, this is the place to build networks and meet new people for potential collaborations - I'm particularly interested in both but more on the latter. What blogger isn't?
What Penguin and I did was attend as much shows as we could squeeze in in our itinerary - him snapping away and I trying my best to net network for the both of us. These were taken on the first day as a refresher but do stay tuned because I have a lot more to report to you guys.
For now, bisous!
