Layers of Neutrals
When I can't decide what to wear, I realise end up pick up the easiest neutral pieces that I can find from my closet and create an outfit out of them. I guess this is the reason why lately you can always find me decked in neutrals what with Macau's ever moody Spring, it's rather difficult to put an outfit that would essentially be suitable for the sometimes hot, sometimes cold weather. But as neutrals are, neutrals, that's where I find the balance.
This outfit was something I came up with last minute using the pieces that I already had in my closet for the longest time (this Forever 21 coat has served me for three Winters already); and added a pop of colour just so I don't look overly monotonous.
I'm currently obsessed with this dark teal / forest green or whatever shade this is. You know how burgundy/maroon is a versatile colour that goes with so many other shades? I realised this shade does the same and really goes well with so many other colours too, but way cooler and less predictable.
Onto shameless plugging as you might have expected already if you've been paying attention to how I write posts recently <insert purple devile emoji>, this outfit is included in my latest lookbook video - February Lookbook, which is already up on my youtube channel. If you haven't watched it already and would like to see this outfit in moving stills along with some of the other outfits I shared with ya'll this month (cos I know outfit photos are getting old, haha), well go and watch it right now!
Penguin and I stepped it up a notch with more camera and subject movements and really more cinematic than my January Lookbook so hope ya'll will check it out and let me know your feedback!
